15 FUN BRIDAL SHOWER GAME IDEAS

Bridal showers don’t have to be boring tea parties. Make them super funny and interactive with these 15 fun bridal shower game ideas, which can all be played whether it’s a women’s party or co-ed.

GUESTS PLAY


1. Newlywed Trivia

Collect interesting and funny information about the couple, then ask guests to guess the answers to your questions. For added fun and interaction, divide guests into teams and see who knows the most about the couple.�

2. Bride or Groom

Hand out “Bride” & “Groom” cards and guests can guess fun facts about the couple, like who said “I love you” first, who’s more organized, who is the better dancer, etc.

3. Where Were We?

Hang up numbered photos of the bride and groom on various locations and have guests write down where they think each photo was taken. The person with the most correct answers win a small prize.

4. Purse Scavenger Hunt

Great for women’s only party – make a list of common & uncommon items women might carry in their bags. Read them aloud and see who carries the most items. The winner gets a small prize.

5. Over and Under

Gather intel from the bride and groom on facts about their relationship, partner and wedding planning that pertain numbers, such as how many wedding venues they looked at, how many children he/she wants, etc. Print the questions as facts with arbitrary numbers and have the guests guess if the numbers provided are too high, too low, or accurate.

6. Date Ideas

Have guests write down their favorite date night idea/activity. Ask them to read them aloud and then keep the cards as inspiration for the future newlyweds.

7. The Nearly-Wed Shoe Game

See how much the couple agrees on their answers. Have the bride & groom sit back to back and hand 1 bride shoe and one groom shoe each and have them raise the corresponding shoe for each of their answers. So if you ask “Who paid on the first date”, or “who is the laziest”, each of them can raise the bride shoe, the groom shoe or both shoes to state their answer without seeing what the other one said.

8. Spouse-To-Be Trivia

Make a list of questions that should have a definite answer such as “how many kids does the bride want?” Or “what’s the name of the groom’s first pet?” And give the couple a small whiteboard to write their answers and see how many of them they get it right.

9. Cold Feet

Place a bunch of toy rings in 2 bowls or buckets of ice water. Bride and groom must plunge their feet into the icy water and pull the rings out with their toes. Whoever can get the most rings in two minutes wins.

10. Paper Bride

Guests divide into teams – one member of each team is the model and the others create a wedding dress using toilet paper. The bride (and groom) then choose their favorite look.

11. Vow Mad Libs

Print out traditional vows, leaving blanks for nouns, verbs and adjectives. Throughout the party ask guests for a word and fill in the blanks. At the end of the party the bride and groom read their mad libs wedding vows.

12. Why Do We Do That?

Make a list of wedding traditions like having a designated ring finger, then have the players guess and answer to why or how that tradition came to be and see who can guess the most correctly.

13. Interactive Scavenger Hunt

You can go as creative and as far as you want with this. It is a special great idea if the party is at the bride & grooms town. Place clues at important locations during the couple’s relationship, such as where they had their first date, where they shared their first kiss, etc.

14. Ring Hunt

Hide toy rings around the party venue and have guests find and collect them throughout the party. The person who’s collected the most rings at the end wins a small prize.

15. Musical Bouquet

Have everyone sit in a circle and pass a small bouquet around. When the music stops, whoever has the bouquet is eliminated. The last person standing wins.
